Per-vehicle pricing is in effect. Visitors may reserve tickets for up to 6 people per vehicle (children under 5 do not need to be counted in your total). There is no additional fee for parking.

Muscoot Farm is interpretive farm where you can experience history, agriculture, and wildlife in a family-friendly atmosphere. Visit our 50+ animals, hike over 5 miles of  trails, and attend our programs all year round – from bird walks to movie nights!

Muscoot Farm is part of the Westchester County Parks system.

Visit our animals by walking up to their pens or inside their barns.  We have cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and pigs.

Learn about the history of an early 1900s dairy farm in Westchester. View historic buildings such as the milk house, the ice house, the brooder house, and the carriage house.

Hike 6+ miles of scenic trails to observe local wildlife

Visitors may bring in food as well as visit our concession stand (open seasonally).

Tilly Foster Farm & Educational Institute is Putnam County’s premier destination for culinary arts, natural beauty and historic attractions. Come meet the beautiful array of chicken breeds, Kunekune pigs, Huacaya alpacas and miniature horses! Hike the 1-mile nature trail and bring your fishing pole for catch & release fishing at the pond (NY State Fishing Regulations apply). Grasshopper Grove inspires children to discover nature play spaces in their own backyards and the wider world. Natural elements are at the heart of child-centered play. They have the opportunity to experience things that many children miss out on in today’s over-scheduled and technology driven world.

A family/group can register for ONE (1) slot per weekend

Each 45 minute session will have four (4) time slots available

A time slot allows for a group of up to, but no more than six (6) people (including infants)

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and will open on Mondays at 12 pm for the upcoming weekend and close on Fridays at 3 pm (or until they fill up). Call Rob Lipkin Mondays 12 – 3 pm & Tuesdays – Fridays 10 am – 3 pm.

Ride the Catskill Thunder this Summer!

The gondola will be closed to the general public on July 31.  Nathanial Rateliff & The Night Sweat concert goers will be able to purchase gondola ride tickets inside the gates starting at 4:30pm.

$20/ Seniors & Youth (Ages 7-19) $10

FREE* Ages 6 & under with a paid adult & adult must ride with child (ren)

Take the Catskill Thunder Gondola to the summit of Belleayre Mountain for breathtaking views of the Catskill Forest Preserve. Once you’ve reached the top, take a walk along the summit ridge, have a picnic lunch, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. When you’re ready, you can either hike down or ride the gondola. Make sure to bring your camera! You are sure to get some beautiful shots of the mountains and the wildlife.
