    Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park is the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge. At 1.28 miles across and 212 feet high, we offer sweeping views of the Hudson Valley. In October 2009 the Walkway Over the Hudson opened as a legacy project of the Hudson Fulton Champlain Quadricentennial. The park provides access to the Hudson River’s breathtaking landscape for walkers, hikers, joggers, bicyclists, and people with disabilities.     Come visit Apple Dave’s Orchards in the heart of the Hudson Valley and enjoy apple and pumpkin picking The apples are getting ready for you!  We will start picking fresh, crisp Macintosh apples on Saturday September 5th.

    Until then, Apple Dave’s Distillery will offer peaceful walks and spectacular mountain views from 11 – 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Come take a stroll around the pond on Apple Dave’s Walking Trail.

    Apple Dave’s Orchards offers eleven varieties of the freshest, juiciest fruit to choose from. You can pick and mix Macintosh, Cortland, Honeycrisp, Gala, Empire, Jonagold, Rome Beauty, Red Delicious, Macoun. Fuji and Golden Delicious apples, and you can pick your own pumpkin from our pumpkin patch! The beautiful surroundings will invite you to relax with a picnic lunch from our country store.

    Stroll through the herb and rose gardens and down to one of our ponds surrounded by wildlife. Your children will enjoy music, hay rides, puppet shows and a variety of foods are offered on weekends, so be prepared to have fun!

    Bring home something from our farm store – old fashioned fresh pressed apple cider, gifts, pure honey, pumpkins, jams, jellies, herbs, vinegars, fresh apple donuts, pies, chrysanthemums, dried flowers, and local seasonal produce are available. Sample the latest creations of our new Distillery.
