Oakdale Community Cookout

What’s better than a cookout on the beach? Let’s gather around a camp fire, celebrate our community, and support our local beach at this fun family-friendly event.
Hannah Black and friends are rustling up your cookout favorites, Sloopclub will be offering guided canoe rides and fishing lessons for kids, and there’ll be tunes by Rager.
All proceeds will support Friends of Hudson Youth’s work to revitalize Oakdale. We’ve funded lifeguard training, brought back swimming lessons, and are building on Friends of Oakdale’s work to improve water quality (no harmful algae this year!!). We also look after the forest by removing poison ivy in high traffic areas, maintaining the trail, and regenerating the ecosystem with native trees and shrubs. And we’re supporting the city with bigger longer-term projects to make desperately needed capital improvements to the park. Help us build a better Oakdale!
All are welcome! Kids are free and sliding scale tickets will be available at the event. Advance tickets are on sale now at the link in bio. Suggested donation is $30 per adult or $50 per family. Or buy a community ticket to help someone else enjoy the party!
