KINGSTON- Catskill Mountain Railroad’s Bunny Express

HOP ON BOARD THE BUNNY EXPRESS!

 

Climb aboard our vintage trains at our Kingston Plaza station for a ride across the Hurley Flats to Hurley Mountain and return. Enjoy the sights and sounds of classic railroading as your train climbs the grade up Hurley Mountain, following the same rail route travelers have used since the 1860s. Passengers will disembark to take part in an Easter egg hunt and to visit for photos with the friendly Easter Bunny and mischievous Fernando the Fox before returning to Kingston. ALL ABOARD!

BRONX – Holiday Train Show® at New York Botanical Garden (NYBG)

New York City’s Favorite Holiday Tradition is Back!

Enchanting model trains zip through a display of more than 175 New York landmarks, each re-created with bark, leaves, and other natural materials—all under the twinkling glow of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.

Marvel at G-scale locomotives humming past familiar sights such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Rockefeller Center on nearly a half-mile of track. This year’s exhibition showcases Lower Manhattan—the birthplace of New York City—featuring the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and iconic skyscrapers sharing the spotlight among old and new favorites. Making their debut this year are One World Trade Center and the historic Battery Maritime Building along with two vintage ferry boats.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended as tickets do sell out.

The New York Botanical Garden is generally open for daytime All-Garden Pass access to the Holiday Train Show® from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.

Bar Car Nights: 7–10:30 p.m.

Extended Hours: 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturdays, November 24–January 19; Friday, November 23 (day after Thanksgiving); and December 26–January 1

Join NYBG for its annual bird count and explore the Garden’s 250 acres on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11 am.

Holiday Tree & Menorah Lighting Ceremony

Take part in a special tree lighting in the Visitor Center and join in on an old-fashioned sing-along with an NYC-based musical group on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 4 – 5:15 pm

Holiday A Cappella

Get in the holiday spirit with seasonal music, both familiar and new, plus contemporary alternative music sung by top a cappella groups from all over the Tri-State area.
