WHITE PLAINS – Musical Theatre Immersion Summer Program 2019 (Gr 1-6) @ Music Conservatory of Westchester

A children’s musical production, students are assigned roles based on their abilities and bring the show to life by memorizing lines, singing group and solo pieces, developing choreography, and helping build the sets & props.

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON – Girl’s Volleyball Camp @ Bard College

 

Bard’s Summer Sports Camps are held on Bard’s beautiful campus located in the Hudson Valley, in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. All camps have a rich tradition of offering first rate coaching and facilities to area children in a range of sports and activities, utilizing various athletics venues including the Stevenson Athletic Center, Lorenzo Ferrari Soccer and Lacrosse Complex, Honey Field, Stevenson Pool and Tennis Courts.

 

MONDAY, July 29 – FRIDAY, August 2, 2019

 

Skills Camp for grades 6-8: 9 am – 12 pm, $150

High School Camp for grades 9-12: 1 – 4 pm, $150

 

(A non-refundable 6% registration fee will be added at checkout)

 

 

Full Day Campers also enjoy lunch at Kline Commons, one of the college’s main dining facilities. Our Summer Sports Camps staff  are dedicated to assuring a great experience for each and every child in attendance. We support a safe learning environment to allow for the best teaching opportunities for all campers.

 

PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED

(Registration closes on the Wednesday prior to each camp OR when the camp is full)

 

 

Medical From Requirements:

1) A copy of their last physical (within the year)

2) A copy of their immunization record or letter of religious/medical exemption

In addition to these records, if your child is required to take medication while at camp, we must also have the individualized order form from their doctor

Please note that ALL of these forms come from your DOCTOR’S OFFICE. Medical forms can be uploaded into your camp account when you register, or at a later date, but must be submitted by the date that registration closes for each camp. Please do not email or fax to Bard Athletics.

MT. KISCO- Murphy’s Mutt Rescue Art & Imagination Camp @ KAC

 

Murphy, a rescue dog and KAC’s mascot, is the inspiration for this exciting new camp! In this camp we will make our very own animal rescue center, complete with animals, crates, name tags, leashes and more. We will then “adopt” out our pets (to each other), complete with adoption certificates!

KAC’s Art & Imagination Camps are designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment geared specifically towards the creative spirit of the young child. Each weekly camp is a creative mix of arts and crafts projects, free art play, storytime, outdoor playtime and collaborative art.

Campers should dress for a mess and bring a snack each day.

Extended day option is not available for this age group.

Full-day registration is available only if camper is picked up in between the morning and afternoon sessions.

Nature Connection Summer Camp at New Era Creative Space in Peekskill, NY

PEEKSKILL – Nature Connection Summer Camp (Ages 11-14) @ New Era Creative Space (NECS)

 

In NECS’ Nature Connection Summer Camp, campers will cultivate their inner naturalist through creative nature art and science projects, stories, games, and hiking and swimming as well as a weekly field trip to visit a farm in Garrison.

 

 

Session 1: July 1st – 19th 2019

Session 2: July 22nd – August 9th

 

 

9 am – 3 pm

 

 

For Ages 11 – 14

 

$750/session*

Over the course of the program, participants will gain a greater understanding to themselves and their connection to nature, explore their environment, and learn about sustainable living practices, and ecological balance principles. Through STEAM-based activities as well as community service projects, Nature Connection offers participants hands-on opportunities to explore nature and to develop their skills as scientists, artists, and community builders. Each day will be spent learning about their inner strengths through activities designed to foster leadership, and teamwork, while exploring and discovering nature; cultivate the inner naturalist through creative nature inspired Art & Science projects, stories, journaling, games, hiking, swimming and community service. There will be a weekly field trip to visit a farm in Garrison.

To create a safe, community-based space for children and youth to become leaders of their own intellectual and moral development based on an understanding of themselves as agents of positive change. Nature connection will engage participants in nature-centered activities designed to foster the well-being of participants and their communities, and encouraging an understanding and respect for the interconnectedness of all living things.
