BEACON – Crazy for Collage ! with Beacon Art Adventures

Creativity is key in this expressive, mixed media class. We’ll create decorative paper using painting and printing techniques, and use this paper and other materials to create a dynamic, unique collage.

 

 

5 WEDNESDAYS: February 20, 27, March 6, 13 & 20

 

 

4 – 5:30 pm

 

 

For inspiration, we will take a look at the work of Henri Matisse and Eric Carle, two artists known for their collage art. Classes are $110 per student, per class which includes all materials and fees.

PATTERSON- February Vacation Camp @ Camp Herrlich

No school? Send kids ages 4 & up to Vacation Camp at Camp Herrlich for a few days of fun!

Camp hours are 9 am – 5 pm with extended care available from 7 am – 6 pm. Lunch, snack, and all of our amazing supervised activities are included!

CARMEL – President’s Day Winter Brunch @ Kiwi Country Kitchen

Spend a cold day in a warm kitchen making a delicious brunch. Gather with friends to make chicken and waffles and fruit smoothies from scratch.

Kiwi Country Kitchen is a year-round, kids-focused culinary experience which specializes in birthday parties, after school enrichment classes and specialty cooking classes.

 

Seating is limited on a first-come, first served basis. A minimum of six participants are required to hold each class. In the event of cancellation, a credit towards a future class will be issued.

SCARSDALE – Winter Nature Experience Camp (Grades K–1) @ Greenburgh Nature Center

The weather outside is not as frightful as you might think. Come explore our winter wonderland and discover the hidden secrets of the forest. Express yourself while exploring the many layers of life. Each day of camp includes fun crafts, games, outdoor adventures along with a mid-camp snack. Dress to go outside and get messy, but in case of inclement weather, the program will be held indoors.

The Greenburgh Nature Center is a nonprofit nature preserve and wildlife refuge with a mission to ignite passion, curiosity and respect for our natural world. We have been a leader in environmental education since 1975. Our 33-acre property includes a woodland preserve with hiking trails, a pond, organic garden, Nature’s Discovery Playground, native plant meadow, and over 100 animals.

 

OSSINING – Winter Mini-Camp @ Teatown Lake Reservation

 

Shake off the winter blues at Teatown! The week will be filled with games, crafts, and outdoor activities to energize the housebound child. Dress your child appropriately for the weather.
