RYE – FREE! Earth Day: DIY Seed Bombs @ Rye Free Reading Room

The Rye Free Reading Room’s Teen Advisory Board has come up with a special treat for families and bees in celebration of Earth Day 2019! All are welcome to participate!

Join us outside the library and learn how to make wildflower seed bombs out of recycled materials and native plant species seeds. Students that participate will earn community service, learn about wildflowers that are native to the area, and how to plant a garden that is bee-friendly. Community members can take home completed seed bombs for their yards, as well as explore the library’s seed catalog which will be on display.

[In the event of rain we will meet inside, in the tiled vestible area outside the new Teen Room]
