NEWBURGH – Learn to Skate Session 4 @ Ice Time Sports


Ice Time Sports Complex is the Hudson Valley’s premier ice skating facility for anyone wishing to pursue the sports of figure skating and ice hockey. We offer a Learn-to-Skate Program which follows USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association) curriculum for its levels of instruction in the basic skills.


7 SATURDAYS: Feb. 2—March 16, 12:45 – 1:45 pm

7 SUNDAYS: Feb. 3—March 17, 4:15 – 5:15 pm

7 MONDAYS: Feb. 4—March 18, 6 – 7 pm

Skaters receive one 30-minute group lesson and 30 minutes of practice each week for 7 weeks. Continuous enrollment will be allowed during the first 3 weeks of lessons or at the skating director’s discretion.


Rates per 7-week session:

Basic Skills, Pre-Free Skate, Hockey Skills & Adult Lessons: $200

NEWBURGH – Learn to Play Hockey Season 3 @ Ice Time Sports

Junior Rangers Rookie Series Learn to Play Winter 2019


Season 3: 10 SATURDAYS: January 26 – March 30, 2019, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm


For Ages 5 – 9  (born between January 27, 2009 & January 26, 2014)


This introductory program will teach your child the basic skills of skating, stick-handling, passing and shooting. In addition, they will learn the importance of hardwork, teamwork and sportsmanship. Best of all, your child’s registration includes a brand new set of CCM hockey equipment to keep * upon completion of the Learn to Play custom fitted by our friends at Pure Hockey. (*For first time participants only)

Each participant will receive the following new equipment customized by the New York Rangers:

  • Ice Hockey Helmet with a cage
  • Shoulder pads
  • Elbow pads
  • Hockey gloves
  • Hockey pants
  • Shin guards
  • Skates
  • Jersey
  • Socks
  • Stick
  • Equipment bag


In addition to the equipment provided, we recommend that you purchase a mouth guard and athletic supporter.


Upon completion of the Learn to Play program, participants will be able to keep the equipment.


Each sessions includes:

  • Free full set of equipment, including skates, for first time Learn to Play participants
  • Family-friendly schedule with 10 weeks of 1-hour sessions
  • Professional instruction alongside Rangers staff
  • Special appearances by Rangers Alumni
