Ever wonder where your paper came from? Well find out now, by making your very own paper. Program will examine the steps that take us from a tree to a sheet of paper.

 

A Naturalist’s Passport is 14 Thursdays of free hands on interactive, outdoor nature programs. Programs are designed for families and are free. Fun, interactive summer camp at CCE!

Students may sign up for 1 or 2 weeks

 

8 am – 4 pm

Breakfast and lunch included.

 

Ages 4 – 13

 

One week $150;

One week for two children: $225;

Two weeks: $275;

Two weeks for two children: $412.50

“Summer Arts Intensive” offers art, music, dance, fitness, drumming, spoken word, agriculture, positive affirmations, peer bonding and more!

 

On the last day of camp, Friday, August 30th, there will be a free community performance to show family and friends all that the students have learned.

Learn about the hidden world of animal tracking. Participants will learn about stride, animal movement and even the things animals leave behind. Participant will have the opportunity to make their own track and participate in a nature walk looking for animal signs.

Naturalist's Passport: Pond Life with Kingston Parks and Recreation

Ponds are home to many aquatic invertebrates, plants and other species. Get hands-on, using dip nets to comb the pond and learn all about these species.

Participants must sign up one week or more in advance.

Three (3) participants minimum required (3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child). If only one (1) or two (2) are signed up, Sailing Program Director or Staff will contact participants to reschedule as soon as possible to another evening.
