Music, Fireworks & Views of the Hudson River

Sunday, September 1, 2019

7:30 – 10 pm

You don’t want to miss this powerful finale to our summer series, featuring outstanding music, breathtaking views, and the best fireworks show in the Hudson Valley! This annual favorite features performances by the Concert Band, Hellcats, and the Benny Havens Band, and is topped off with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, complete  with live cannon fire.

Continue the tradition and soak in the history and majesty of West Point as you take in a concert while overlooking the waters that George Washington called “the key to the continent.” Audiences are welcome to bring picnics, visit the beautiful and historic grounds of the United States Military Academy, and enjoy scenic Hudson River views while the West Point Band performs an evening of world-class music. Best of all, these concerts are free and open to everyone.

For concert information, cancellations, and updates, call 845-938-2617 or visit

Rain Date: In the event of inclement weather, this performance will move to September 2.

Please note: This event does not require a Local Area Credential to enter West Point. Guests will only need a valid stateside driver’s license or government-issued ID.
