10 am – 1 pm
This program is recommended for physically fit adults and children ages 9+.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
Leaving from the Peter’s Kill Area, our route will take us on a slight uphill grade past a towering rock formation and along the Peter’s Kill stream, before reaching our destination, the iconic 65 foot tall Awosting Falls.
A limited number of snowshoes are available for participants to borrow for this program from the education department. Otherwise, snowshoes may be rented for this program from the Park for a fee of $5 per person. Early arrival is suggested if you would like to borrow snowshoes. If there is insufficient snow cover, this program will be offered as a hike.
