Explore the gardens and make nature-inspired creations each Saturday and Sunday morning, from 10 am to 1 pm, in the Sally & Gilbert Kerlin Learning Center.

 

Artist-led, hands-on workshops incorporating a range of techniques and natural Himaterials introduce families to traditional and contemporary art-making around the world.

FREE, and admission to the grounds is free until noon*

 

Have you seen any downy woodpeckers, chickadees or eastern towhees lately? See which of these black-and-white winter birds can be spotted setting up house at Wave Hill this winter. Make fun, bird marionettes to hang on a group indoor tree display or take home to dance around and decorate your house.

 

Wave Hill is a spectacular 28-acre public garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades in the Bronx, Wave Hill’s vibrant landscape is one of the most beautiful spots in New York City.

 

Hours:  Tuesday–Sunday: 9 am – 4:30 pm

Perkins Visitor Center: 9:30 am – 4 pm

Wave Hill House: 9 am – 4 pm

Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory 10 am – 12 pm; 1 – 4 pm

Glyndor Gallery 10 am – 4 pm

The Shop at Wave Hill 9:30 am – 4 pm

The Cafe at Wave Hill 10 am – 4 pm
