Flutter in this weekend to discover the beauty of butterflies, moths, and caterpillars!

Museum Members: $8 Adults, $5 Children.

Not-yet-Members:$10 Adults, $7 Children

 

 

 Presentation about monarch butterflies followed by tagging and releasing at 11:30 am & 1:30 pm

 

Butterfly tent (one ticket with each paid admission)

 

Butterfly, moth, and caterpillar crafts for kids

 

Admission to Grasshopper Grove included

 

Participate in citizen science by tagging monarch butterflies as part of Monarch Watch

CORNWALL – Weekend Program: Dazzling Dragonflies @ Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center

 

Join us for an illustrated presentation and learn all about dragonflies and damselflies including anatomy, life cycle and feeding habits.  Then we’ll walk the fields to net and identify these jewels before releasing them back to their habitat.

Welcome summer with a mud-riffic day of play in Grasshopper Grove!

Thousands of children in dozens of countries worldwide celebrate Mud Day as a chance to appreciate nature and the great outdoors by getting muddy. Mud pies + mud pools + mud art + mud slides = MUD FUN! Bring a towel or a change of clothes, and a bundle of laughter to enjoy this afternoon of summertime play.
