Students will learn how to melt, mix, and apply wax to create a variety of surface effects. Students will also learn how use photographs and other collage effects for creating texture and interest. There will be a $50 material fee for this camp.

MONDAY, August 5- FRIDAY, August 9, 2019

1 – 4 pm

$360 + $50  Materials fee

Our Teen Camp is a great option for teens that love art and might be too old for, or bored by traditional day camps. Each one-week session will focus intensively on a single topic. Our goal is to instill in each camper the skills needed to continue to explore the subject independently.

Teen Campers should dress appropriately for art and bring a snack each day. Full-day campers should also bring a lunch to be escorted to lunch and their next afternoon camp. See Camp FAQ for more info.

Please note: Subjects listed are options – choose one subject for each half-day weekly session. Materials are included for all camps, except where noted in the camp descriptions.

In so doing, CAS Kids provides an excellent and free out-of-school learning opportunity during the school break session, removing economic and cultural barriers to the arts in our rural, low-income communities.
