Yoga for Teens is so much more than just stretching and exercising. Being a Teenager isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. From moral issues, social media challenges, to peer pressure and much more, teens face the same challenges as we do. When given the proper tools, our teens learn to deal with every day life challenges in a whole new way! This results in better focus, concentration and better judgment.


8 Tuesdays:  4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11 & 6/18/19

Family Yoga is all about fun and then relaxing! Family Yoga gives parents, children and siblings the opportunity for a healthy interaction in a class that will include appropriate poses for all ages, breathing exercises, partner poses and relaxation. Prepare to laugh a lot, have story time, explore fun shapes with your kids and increase family bonds.

For Art, students will create curious bunnies burrowing into clay flower pots. Pots will be adorned with silk flowers and painted with acrylic paint.

For Yoga, students will go an egg hunt while playing games and moving their bodies into various shapes to welcome Spring. Flowers, butterflies and so much more!

POUGHKEEPSIE – BOYoga: Yoga for Boys (Ages 5-13) @ Mindful Yoga with Liz

This BOYoga Series is created specifically for boys to come to a judgment free class, learn to increase flexibility and muscle in both mind and body, which will help in other sports and areas of life.


Tuesdays, 5:15 – 6:15 pm:

$75 for 4-class series

Despite what some may think, Yoga is not just for girls. There’s a reason that major sports teams and athletes, such as The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, are incorporating Yoga into their traditionally rigorous training regimens. Did you know that Shaquille O’Neal, former NBA player, turned to Yoga as a way to help preserve his body for his career?


Yoga helps develop body awareness, increase flexibility, build muscle, feel part of a healthy, non competitive group, build self esteem, manage stress and increase concentration and focus. All of these benefits have the capability to flow into our boys’ every day lives, both in the classroom and at home. This class will run as a series to build trust, compassion and structure.

POUGHKEEPSIE – Tween Girl Power! Yoga @ Mindful Yoga with Liz

Yoga for Tweens is so much more than exercise. From shyness to independence to finding their voices, Tween life is not always easy. In this series, we’ll explore how to build confidence and self esteem. Yoga gives us tools to help focus, slow down and balance the good with the bad in a healthy way.


Tuesdays, 4 – 5 pm:


Series 1:  4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7


Series 2:  5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11, 6/18





$110 for 6-week session

$180 for 12-week session

(Purchase a 12 Week Series and pay $15 per class)

Drop-in rate per class: $22


This class will run as two 6-week series. A series allows us to build on themes, create a relationship for the girls and aids in structure for class.
