WOODSTOCK – “Yumpatiddly Bee” Album Release Concert with The Princes of Serendip @ Mountain View Studio

The Princes of Serendip celebrate the release of their new album “Yumpatiddly Bee: Silly Songs” with a concert of their silly, sentimental, strange and story songs!

Sunday, May 19, 2019

4 – 5:30 pm

$10, free for kids!

Adults and children enjoy the Princes’ silly songs. Some tell stories and jokes, some incorporate a serious message, some are pure whimsy.

The songs explore everything from love to the delights of onions — from crocodiles, bees and dinosaurs to the usefulness of knees — from scientific discoveries (did you know that mice sing courting songs just like birds do?) to pure nonsense (what would it feel like to be a bouncy ball?) Be prepared for the world’s first climate-change-peace-reggae-sea-shanty and for a celebration of the Fibonacci numbers.

After an album of “Sentimental Songs” (2017), the Princes decided to set a light-hearted but big-hearted mood for their newest album. Joining T. G. Vanini (vocals, piano) and Julie Parisi Kirby (vocals) will be George Quinn, Julie Last, Mikhail Horowitz, and Jude Roberts. Admission $10 or what you can, free for kids. CDs and downloads will be on sale at silly prices.
