KATONAH – Afternoon Tea @ Rosen House

Spend a lovely afternoon enjoying Caramoor’s scrumptious Afternoon Tea served in the beautiful setting of the open air Summer Dining Room overlooking the stunning Spanish Courtyard and its bubbly fountain and gardens. Enjoy delightful tea sandwiches, delicious desserts and a variety of fragrant teas. The Tea service is preceded by a tour of the Rosen House. As you explore the estate, the docents invite you to get to know the Rosen family, their much-loved country home, and its art collection. Leave yourself time after the Tea & Tour to stroll through Caramoor’s dazzling gardens and bucolic grounds.

STONE RIDGE – FREE 4th Annual Bright Ideas Festival @ High Meadow School


The Bright Ideas Festival at High Meadow School is a FREE event for all ages showcasing science, innovation, math and creativity, returns for a fourth year at High Meadow School in Stone Ridge, NY. The festival, centered around the theme of “invention, creativity, and problem solving ”, focuses on STEAM-themed learning experiences.

Featured at the event are Robotics with PTECH, an Escape Room Fun from the maker of Interactive STEM Games, 3D Printing with SUNY New Paltz, Solar telescopes with Mid Hudson Astronomy and will culminate a special performance by “Bill Robinson’s Birds of Prey,” at 4 PM. Campus tours and classroom presentations by High Meadow students will be featured.

STONE RIDGE – FROLIC All-Ages Ecstatic Dance Party @ MaMA

The Frolic is an all-ages dance party for dance lovers: a not-for-profit all-volunteer freestyle dance event in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Frolic dances are alcohol free, smoke free, and drug free which keeps the focus on dancing. Dancers of all kinds attend, ranging from people who are serious about dance and want to expand their experience and learn from other dancers, to people who just want to get down in a fun, open atmosphere. No dance skills or partners are required! Just bring your dancing feet, socks or soft-soled shoes, and be prepared to boogie down. Questions: 845-658-8319
