Amadou Diallo is a percussionist from Senegal, West Africa, and has enthusiastically shared his culture since arriving in the Hudson Valley in 2001. He’s done hundreds of performances, workshops, presentations and classes on West African culture and traditional African rhythms.

MLWS After-School Clubs take place on our campus, located at 16 South Chestnut Street in the village of New Paltz (unless otherwise noted), and are run by teachers, parents and professionals. Clubs are open to students from local school districts as well as those enrolled at MLWS. The Clubs allow students to stretch their minds and bodies while developing new skills and friendships.
After-School Clubs run in five-to-six week blocks, meeting once per week when school is in session. At 3:15 students have time for free-play and a snack, provided by parents or by MLWS. At 3:30 club activities begin. Pickup is at 5pm unless otherwise pre-arranged with staff. Late pickups will be billed $5 for every 10 minutes after 5pm.
