Vernal pools are ephemeral water sources that attract a variety of wildlife such as wood frogs, mole salamanders, and fairy shrimp, who utilize these habitats for breeding. Join natural resource specialist, Josh DiPaola, in search of these transient domains. We’ll listen for frog breeding calls and hopefully observe the egg masses for a variety of amphibian species.
