Tuesday, February 18th: SNOW PEOPLE

Wednesday, February 19th: OUT OF THIS WORLD

Thursday, February 20th: SUGAR SNOW

Tuesday, February 18th

People have lived in the extreme cold for thousands of years. Children will venture out to learn how to stay warm in the cold. From igloos to snow caves, we will explore how to make shelters out of the snow and other natural materials.

Wednesday, February 19th

Learn about distant stars and where we live in the Milky Way Galaxy! Children will be challenged to analyze sky charts, learn about the elements of space, and create a camp-wide spaceship.

Thursday, February 20th

Join us as we tap a tree and learn the process of making sweet maple syrup. After tasting sap right from the spile (spigot), children will get a chance to visit the maple sugar shed where they will see how we turn this sap into syrup using the evaporator.

Children should dress for the weather and bring lunch.
