A Dramatic Reading of A Thousand Cranes
Thursday, December 5, 2019
7 – 9 pm
A THOUSAND CRANES, by David Caudle (Putnam Valley, NY.) When his daughter is left in a coma after a vicious assault, a white Christian conservative Congressman refuses to allow the morning after pill on religious grounds. The investigation quickly uncovers evidence that any potential offspring may be of mixed race. The prospect challenges his faith and his sincerity in the assertion that all lives matter.
Paramount Hudson Valley Arts is delighted to host the Dramatists Guild Footlight Series DG Footlights™ a program, created and moderated by the Dramatists Guild, that connects dramatists with space in which to hold a public reading of a new work that is currently in development. The readings are open and free to the public.
