MILLWOOD – Public Program: Saw-whet Owls @ Saw Mill River Audubon
January 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm$5
Trudy Battaly and Drew Panko have banded Saw-whet Owls in Southern New York since 2004 at Westchester Community College, Harriman State Park and other locations. Find out what Drew and Trudy have discovered about our local Saw-Whet Owls. Saw-Whet Owls are no bigger than robins. They also may be one the most common owls in forested habitats of northern United States and southern Canada but are rarely seen. A suggested & optional donation of $5/person to support Drew & Trudy’s research.
VENUE: We are meeting at the Millwood Fire Station #1, 100 Millwood Road, Millwood, NY 10546. This is a new meeting venue for us. Parking note: some parking is available at the front of the building by main doors with additional spaces behind the building. Most of the front parking is reserved for firefighters so please note signs. If able, please do use the rear parking and walk to the main front door to continue upstairs to the meeting room. Follow Audubon signs.
