Haverstraw Earth Day Arts & Science Festival

Join Strawtown Studio, the Haverstraw Brick Museum, Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory, and other fabulous partners for the 2nd annual Earth Day Arts & Science Festival in Emeline Park. Taking place on the site of a former brickyard, on the Hudson River estuary, this unique event features hands-on learning art experiences from an earth science perspective. Activities will focus on the importance of protecting our waterways, identifying our local fish and wildlife, art-making based on the geologic formation of the river valley, the history of brick manufacturing, and nature crafting on recycled textiles.
