Get the kids outside (and inside\, in o ur classroom) for STEM fun and adventures on our 60 acres of protected lan d. Through a combination of trail exploration\, games\, stories\, and othe r activities\, we’ll enjoy loads of nature fun while observing the impac t of the changing season on wildlife and habitats. Our naturalist-led prog ram provides the opportunity for enrichment\, connection with nature\, and the company of other young enthusiasts.\n\nOur Forest Friends:\n\nget han ds-on experience with science and nature on a 60-acre nature conservancy\n learn about the animals and plant life that call Sheldrake home\nsavor the splendor of winter while observing how the natural world transitions to s pring\nfoster appreciation for the natural world and establish the foundat ion for a life-long love of nature\nDates: Wednesdays – January 22-March 5 (5 sessions\; class doesn’t meet on 1/29 or 2/19). March 12 is reserv ed for a makeup\, in case one is needed.\n\nTime: 3:45-4:45 pm\n\nFor ages : 3-5 years old (drop-off program)\n\nFee: $120 for members\, $135 for non members\n\nCancellation Policy: In the event that Sheldrake should cancel a program\, either a makeup will be scheduled or a refund will be issued. Participant cancellation requires a minimum of one week’s notice (in wri ting to scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org)\, and a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be issued under other circumstances.
