Visiting Information

National Historic Landmark, home of John Jay, one of 7 founding fathers and the only one to have served in all 3 branches of government and the only one from NY. John Jay was a proponent of equal rights. John Jay Heritage Center is open to explore the grounds only at this time. Normally, the site opens for special public programs including tours, outdoor concerts and more.

Tours of The 1838 Jay Mansion and The 1907 Van Norden Carriage House are closed due to observation of COVID-19 safety recommendations.
