Explore and discover the natural environment of Westchester County with fun, hands-on experiences at our nature centers. Each camp will focus on different aspects of nature with weekly themes and teach youngsters about animals, insects, plants and more.
Edith G. Read Wildlife Sanctuary is offering two, 1 – week Nature Camp sessions for those entering grades 7 through 9. Sessions are August 3 through 7, and August 10 through August 14. “The Way of the Naturalist” theme will teach young adults to better observe and live in harmony with the natural world around us. This is a great option for young people who are looking to expand on their camp experience and who want to change the world for the better.
