ROCKLAND LAKE NATURE CENTER

The Nature Center at Rockland Lake State Park, an extension of Trailside,  is open most Friday mornings, May through October, while the volunteers are at work. To volunteer, contribute or for information: contact Elaine Brown at Elaine.Brown@parks.ny.gov 845-786-2701 x 265.

Parking is located at Bear Mountain State Park; $10/vehicle.

Trailside Museums & Zoo is located at Bear Mountain State Park, on the western bank of the Hudson River.

Main Entrance to Bear Mountain State Park is on Seven Lakes Drive, off of Route 9W and a short distance south of the Bear Mountain Bridge Circle.
